Pippols - MSX - longplay
3Pippols is an MSX exclusive.The main character is Pippols, who must recover this sacred gem from the opposite side of a cursed forest, infested with spirits and goblins; once he will get the gem he will bring it back to its altar, from which it was stolen.
So you have 5 levels forward and 5 backwards, but at the end of each level you have to make the right choice to continue: if you choose the wrong direction you'll have to repeat the same level or you'll be thrown back to the previous level! Sadic :D
And there's more: every time you play, the right/wrong directions will change -_-''
Fun fact: some levels, especially those with flowers, are inspired by the gardens of the Portland Botanical Park in Oregon.
Japanese games were intended to last as much as possible, as a sort japanese philosophy. Today there are people who stop working or spend some days alone in order to complete games (did you say the last Zelda? :D), a thing that already existed at the time..
