Pittsburgh is called the worst city in the country for short-term particle pollution and soot by the American Lung Association. Pittsburgh, once the steel making hub of the United States, has been slammed by the A.L.A. as being worse than Los Angeles for short term particle pollution which is supposedly bad for the lungs. Apparently the last time the American Lung Association visited Pittsburgh was in 1904 because we don't think that we have a problem. In fact we rather like it here. But in response to this claim by the American Lung Association about how bad our pollution is, how we're #1 in the country for bad air and by default respiratory, environmental and health problems, we'd like to thank you for putting us in the news. Go Pittsburgh! This is major national news that PGH has surpassed LA in this category, because L.A. is thought to have dirty air. But nope, we're worse! We're working on becoming #1 for long term particle pollition as well.

We'd like to mention as a disclaimer that this footage was difficult to get because we had to vacuum out the air before we filmed each shot. Evidently you can only see 3 feet in front of your face in Pittsburgh because of all the soot in the air polluting our city. The trees were painted green because they were actually black from the acid rain and death raining from the air. The shot of Pittsburgh is a miniature. We used a Photoshop lens flare to simulate the sun because the soot was blocking it. The monument of George Westinghouse is colored in with a gold Sharpie.
