I like snakes, theoretically I should like Snivy.

...But I don't.

The "N" in the title stands for "Nuzlocke".
This is not a randomized nuzlocke.

Rules:
- challenge doesn't start until I get pokeballs.
- I have to catch the first Pokémon I see on each route.
Exceptions-
-I do not have to catch a "duplicate" Pokemon. For example, if I catch a pidove on one route, I do not have to catch any pidove (or its evolutions) that I run into on any other route. Instead, I can decide to get a new encounter.
-If a route has a "static" encounter, I am allowed to catch it alongside the random encounter. Static encounters are not "chance" encounters. These are Pokemon you encounter in the overworld by pressing A on an object (such as a legendary pokemon).
-If I encounter a shiny pokemon, I am allowed to catch it even if I have already caught a pokemon on that route.

-If a pokemon faints, I must stuff it into the PC and never use it again.
Exceptions-
-I can still use HMs that my fainted pokemon know if it helps to progress the game.

-I must name all my Pokemon.

-I cannot use revives or any other healing item that would bring a pokemon "back to life". Once a pokemon is fainted, they stay fainted forever.

I think that's all the rules, idk.
