In this video, I am showing places I've been and I think worth give a visit. I've already done a full few videos on these places, which also are worth watch and make your own idea and mind which place you want to visit.
Located close to Coseley railway station on the Birmingham New Road, Silver Jubilee Park has seen investment as part of the Healthy Towns project and has an outdoor gym and activity centre with Park Activators providing daily health activities. Running along the perimeter of the park are trees providing a home to an abundance of wildlife and birds. The trees also limit the affects of the traffic and are part of a secure perimeter fence to aid safety for groups with children. The park has a flowing nature, with gentle inclines making walking and running favorable activities.
Formerly called the People's Park, Wolverhampton's West Park was opened on 6 June 1881. West Park is a large-19th-century public park, covering some 19 hectares. It was restored in the 1990s. The land now occupied by West Park was previously known as the Broad Meadows. From 1825 it had been used for horse racing, but in 1860 it was suggested that a municipal park be laid out on the site. Negotiations to buy the roughly 21-hectare site from the Duke of Cleveland were only successfully concluded in the later 1870s. A broad specification, influenced by Edouard Andre's ideas about the integration of spaces for sports within parks, was decided upon. West Park opened in 1881.
Blackpool is a seaside resort on the Irish Sea coast of England. It's known for Blackpool Pleasure Beach, an old-school amusement park with vintage wooden roller coasters. Built-in 1894, the landmark Blackpool Tower houses a circus, a glass viewing platform, and the Tower Ballroom, where dancers twirl to the music of a Wurlitzer organ. Blackpool Illuminations is an annual light show along the Promenade.
Coventry is a city in central England. It’s known for the medieval Coventry Cathedral, which was left in ruins after a WWII bombing. A 20th-century replacement, with abstract stained glass, stands beside it. The collection at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum includes paintings of local heroine Lady Godiva. A statue of her, naked on horseback, is nearby. The 14th-century St. Mary’s Guildhall has a vaulted crypt.
Kraków, a southern Poland city near the border of the Czech Republic, is known for its well-preserved medieval core and Jewish quarter. Its old town – ringed by Planty Park and remnants of the city’s medieval walls – is centered on the stately, expansive Rynek Glówny (market square). This plaza is the site of the Cloth Hall, a Renaissance-era trading outpost, and St. Mary’s Basilica, a 14th-century Gothic church.
Dudley is a large industrialized market town in the county of West Midlands, England, 6 miles south-east of Wolverhampton and 10.5 miles north-west of Birmingham. The town is the administrative centre of the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley and in 2011 had a population of 79,379.
Priory Park is the closest park to Dudley town centre at just a five-minute walk away. Opened in 1932 the park retains most of its original features as well as a number of additions funded by the Heritage Lottery restoration project. Priory Park holds the Green Flag Award and Green Heritage Award quality marks. The awards recognize high-quality parks that offer a great visitor experience and high standards of management. In 2013 a heritage lottery funded project was completed to restore, conserve and enhance the historic landscape and create a park that met modern-day visitors' needs and provides a varied range of events and activities.
