Coffee Date is violinist and composer Evelyn Rivera, known for remix albums such as Stardew & Chill and Hyrule Café. Teaming up with guitarist and the producer behind Samus & Chill and Souls & Chill Tune in with Chewie, the duo pair their signature instruments of choice with mellow beats, dreamy piano, and synths in “Planet Wisp”.
The tune first appeared in the Sonic the Hedgehog game Sonic Colors for Wii, and was composed by SEGA Sound Team member Kenichi Tokoi. “Planet Wisp” is set to feature on Coffee Date's upcoming album Wii Chill, a tribute to her favorite soundtracks of the Wii era.
