Here's a list of things I believe need a looking at on the Construction System but I will give it a 7 out of 10 due to the fact, with a team of 3 to 5 people you can get a decent base rolling with good fights. Also with my list tell me what you think about it.
1. Artillery needs it's firing mechanic to be replace with something like you sit in a open chair like in a harrasor or something and look down into a screen and fire your artillery that way vs these darts (Quite literally every other game with artillery in a shooter context like this game does this for a reason. Though gunners do lose out on good sights so perhaps having both firing options made available would be ideal)
2. Artillery should be able to shoot anywhere onto the map (Forces players to leave well defended bases to deal with enemy artillery while providing attackers with a new tool to deal with well enchanted forces)
3. Snap together Walls & Buckers (Makes making a enclosed space easier and faster to do)
4. New Building Selecting UI (A radio wheel or something like so would be nice)
5. New Building Structures UI/Mechanic (Should only snap to a level where you can build at & resist hovering in a no deployable spot)
6. Increase Building Speed (Take a little bit too long to throw down walls & Turrets)
7. Certain buildings HP needs Tweaking/Redo their hit box like Solid straight pieces (For some reason these walls never take damage)
8. Why does the EMP Artillery fight for space with regular turrets yet both the OBS, & Fail do not? (I think that speaks for itself ther)
9. Please have a complete package deal for all construction items available in the store and have it get progressively get cheaper with the more items you buy off it like how steam does their bundles
10. Rework the no deploy zones (For some bases their way to big and for others they stack over with multiple bases to create mega no deploy zones. Ideally just make it so half of each base has a no deploy zone while the other half is open for modifying)
11. Add in permissions settings for all player interactable items & not just one setting for them all. (I want people to be able to use my fail for me as I'm busy keeping the base in one piece & I don't want people to access say the OBS or maybe sometimes I do?)
12. Should be able to build structures while in an ant and only the ant vehicle would have this ability compared to the rest of the vehicles (Helps to avoid getting sniped while trying to build and gives a better pull back camera view for building what you would get in starhawk)
13. Why do I need to pay to put up a faction pole?! (Wouldn't you want people to do this to help mark who owns what?)
14. Add in a speaker poll so we can play music on it or give out orders to everyone in a large radius around it. Also make it so enemy forces hear it too.
15. Change the following structure assets: default Bunker, Modules, Pill box, Sundy Garbage (give them all a faction only doorway that only allows faction members to pass through and then lock but then add a ladder/stair way up to the top of them all with a ladder/stairway into them on the top. Also for crying out loud just redesign the default bunker completely it has so much wasted space)
16. Please let us build Turrets on top of bunkers (They already have the base for it too)
17. It would be nice for infantry to have a combination of anti infantry & anti vehicle turrets mounted in gunner position inside bunkers, what tower, Pill Box, & on walls. (This just gives infantry something to use/hide behind in their friendly structures)
18. Players pulling vehicles from a player base a told how much their vehicle cost but not how much cordium is left in the tank (This is handy to know if your pulling too much or not from someone's silo)
19. Add in an automated system for player bases to get cordium. Like build a sudder garage that comes with an automated ant inside of it that goes out exploring for cordium. But is highly exposed to enemy attacks as it has weak defences. (This is to help out smaller teams with getting cordium without removing the job completely from players as the enemy can still cut the line and force players to venture out themselves to either get the corduim or protect the automated ants)
20. Being able to apply camo to our construction items (I mean we can already do this to everything on us and vehicles we summon so why not our bases?)
21. Make border lines more visible and have an option to have them always show all of them & have it turn all unbuildable land red due to being too close to something else. (Make placing structures a lot easier)
22. Why do we need a special tool to deconstruct buildings
