[Playing a game I'm not extremely good at] abyss (arColm) Full Painthrough (All 3 Candles)

abyss is a platformer game by arColm (the dev of PIED PIPER) & elsi draws, where it's about angling your fish. Keyboard (WASD) controls the movement, while the mouse cursor and buttons, does the aim & dash, and your goal is to I guess pop all the Jellyfish with your trident to proceed to the next screen.... for the most part. There are also 3 optional candles to find, which are also the most difficult stage you will play, especially the last one, which I had the most tries as seen on the video.
Overall, like the previous game, I enjoyed this one. I just wish there's a downloadable version of this, and I was struggling to record this with OBS, so I ended up doing a page resize and using bandicam, to be even able to play. The graphics might look like a little bit kind of crusty, but it's still doable, and made the 3rd candle stage somehow easier, but not a lot. I adore the graphics of this game (I'm a connoisseur of pixel arts) , especially the two screens, and the angler fish at the end, and the music & SFX. The controls are very solid for the most part, and the candle stages does a really well job to apply it to the test... just still the last candle stage, where I had to resize it so bad to make the inverse L playable. Funnily enough the dev made a playthrough with all candles, and they made it so easy enough, but again, that's the dev, likely knows everything in their own game, and probably can play platformers with mouse pretty well as well, and impressive skills I would also say. Even again I might not be the audience for this type of game, (maybe one day I will become one), I still enjoyed it and felt satisfactory on the challenges it has.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
