I roll into Goldenrod City and get to work taking on the gym there. I find Whitney in the Radio Tower and convince her to return to her gym. After defeating her underlings, one of which had a Miltank, I fight Whitney herself. Whitney’s team is two ground type Pokemon, so Duchess the Kingdra handles her with ease. I travel north, heading towards the National Park and catch a Riolu who will replace ZZ Hitmontop.
