Then they became entirely too busy deflecting and throwing the blame at each other rather than fixing the problem, so they all mostly died off. It's been years since this tragedy. The invisible wounds of trauma have become numb, but there still remains a few fading vestigial members of society. Grasping at the straws for something, anything to feel whole. This is how the world ended.
