Want to play your Japanese Famicom games on your NES (PAL/NTSC)? Well here is how and it is relatively inexpensive too.
No modifications necessary to your consoles!
So browsing around on the internet I found a converter for about £10 called a 60 - 72 pin converter for Nintendo Entertainment Systems. For about the same price there are also 72 - 60 pin converters so you can play NES games on your Famicom or Famiclone consoles. Which I may try at a later date, could be neat.
I have quite a few Famicom carts in my collection and so far I haven't found one that doesn't work. But even so I will not promise 100% compatibility with all games.
Also much love to the Super Retro Trio console, probably my favourite console to date
and of course the Retro-Bit team who support it.
