Knowing that Cuphead would take me forever to complete, I decided to alternate between it and other games in my backlog. First one on that list was Ōkami! A game inspired by Japanese legends and folklore.
Also I realize now that Issun's nickname for Amaterasu was probably supposed to be pronounced Ami instead of Ame, but Ame sounded closer to AMAterasu than Ami to me, so that's what I ended up going with in the moment.
