I set myself a challenge to beat Super Mario 64 with a fixed camera perspective. This video shows the highlights of my stream.
Rules:
I have to set the camera options to fixed, which also means I have to hold the R button down at all times.
If I let go of R and the camera changes then I have to exit the course and start again.
Using warps and cannons are allowed, the camera angle will change for them but I will keep it at where they move to.
The angle will also change if a cutscene happens or I need to talk to a camera, but I cannot talk to an NPC or read a sign if it is unnecessary.
