Playing the game with the MOST DISTURBING STORY! All endings and achievements || My Eyes Deceive ||
In Today's video, and for the Halloween special, I played My Eyes Deceive. So this game is about being trapped in a basement. The game starts off with a specific cycle that is repeated every day. The cycle first starts with you waking up taking some sort of pills, drinking water from a sink, preparing a meal in a microwave, shower, and then waiting for your Father. During that time, you can water plants or play a game on an iPad, earning you an achievement if beaten. Once Father arrives you can talk to him. After the person greets Father, they ask Father to come downstairs, but Father refuses, due to the risk of the person getting infected. Father then asks if the person (most likely a child) took the pills. The child says yes, and that they're making them feel sleepy. Father then tells the child to head to bed. The child asks for a story, and Father tells them about a narrow escape from a monster. The child then says they'll go to bed, but Father gives them a diary first. The child then writes about, what happened that day, and they head to bed. However, they have a strange dream: They walk through the basement, and everything falls apart, leaving only the door and the stairs. Once they get up to the open door, they wake up. After repeating the morning cycle, Father returns, and the child tells them about the weird dream. Father asks about the pills again, which the child took. Father then talks about what they did. Father mentions that the world outside is a mess, and to not trust anyone else's voice, as the monsters could imitate them. The child then asks Father to make a password just in case the monsters imitate Father. Father comes up with "apple", something the child doesn't recognize. The child asks about it, and Father says he'll bring them one if he finds one. The child then says they're sleepy. Before going to bed, we have a choice, of how we imagine the outside to look like. We picked the picture with a bunch of halls. The child then writes, what happened that day, and that they're scared. Upon going to bed, they have another dream, where they wander around the imagined outside, before they find what they think is an apple, and encounter a monster. After waking up, they do the cycle but make leftover food, as Father never left any. However, Father doesn't come back that day. The child writes, that they're scared and don't like feeling alone. After going to bed, they have another dream about going through random halls, ended when they fall through a hole. After skipping some days and waking up, they repeat the same cycle, making some leftover food. However, Father still doesn't show up. Now, we have a choice to make. Either, we stop taking the pills, or we continue. I picked to stop taking them. The child then writes, that Father hasn't come back and they'll stop taking the pills. The child then dreams of him breaking chains, while a voice asks if they're sure, to trust Father, and if it's worth it. Upon waking up, we make fresh food and wait for Father. Father returns, and the child asks for the password. Upon saying it, the child asks where Father went. Father says, that something urgent came up, and that he had to leave, but that it wouldn't happen again. Father asks about the pills. The child lies, saying they've been taking them. As an apology for leaving, Father brings the child an apple. After that, the child lies again, saying they're tired, and Father leaves. After trying the apple, the child pretends to sleep. Father arrives at night, and checks if the child is sleeping. Then, Father starts doing something but is interrupted as someone rings the doorbell. Father, in a rush, leaves the door open. The child goes up from the basement to the surface and leaves the house. Upon doing so, they're confused about a glowing ball in the sky, and why it hurts their eyes. The game ends there, with the good ending. However, I wanted to get the bad ending as well. Here, nothing really changes until the very end. We chose the spiky landscape instead of the corridors, causing the 2nd night's dream to be a bunch of spikes in an open corridor, and then, we chose to keep taking the pills. On that day, the child has a dream, where they go through their home repeatedly, until they come across the pill table, saying they trust Father. The next day, they write in the journal that they hope Father brings more apples. Upon waking up ON DAY 147, the child moves extremely slowly. As Father comes, the child asks why their stomach is so round and big, and the bad ending ends there. Yeah, this was a psychological horror experience, meaning, that you have to really think about what happened. Also, it's based on a true story, where the same things Father did to the child in this game, another man did to their daughter FOR 24 YEARS. The link for that will be here in the description. Remember, have a Happy Halloween.
