On March 22nd a story was published citing a verified source that claimed the PlayStation 3 and PSP digital storefronts will be closing down on the 2nd July, with the PS Vita PlayStation Store to swiftly follow on 27th August. Now it would seem Sony has quietly taken its first step in killing off the PlayStation Stores for purchasing legacy titles for PlayStation 3, PSP, and PS Vita, removing the browser-based version which links you to the PS4 and PS5 stores.
