17This video was uploaded on the day PlayStation VR turned 5 years old, October 13th 2021. The PlayStation VR was released on October 13th 2016. 5 years on, the PlayStation VR has proved to be a success, with the second generation of PlayStation VR headsets coming soon.
PlayStation VR started from humble beginnings and it was a piece of kit that was hyped for, especially back in 2016 when VR headsets were starting to become more mainstream. The hype really was worth it in the end, as PlayStation continued to support their new hardware and new games and experiences were being released on a regular basis.
Even in 2021, the love and support the PlayStation VR receives is still very much prominent in the world of PlayStation, with titles being released every month.
Starting from November 2021, PlayStation Plus will include a PSVR title for 3 months, which you'll receive for free, as a bonus to your regular PlayStation Plus titles, so be sure to keep an eye out for what titles they add. (The titles haven't been publicly mentioned as of when this video was uploaded)
