So the strategy for the "Bound by pain" fight is to hurt the dwarf enough so the demon goes out and we can actually fight him ; the trick is not to kill the dwarf so you have to be really careful. The demon then possesses the nearest of your companions, so I removed everyone's armor, making them easier to hurt and to stun - the combat is way more manageable.
