There is a way to make melee weapons to be rotated and attached to gun. It just requires some extra work but it is possible and not that hard at all! Just requires a image to be rotated 90 degrees for holstered position. Basically a melee gun image to be rotated towards how guns are usually displayed for a holstered position. As for non-holstered position. You just have it stand upright like most swords already do in image search it's just that there are no rotated 90 degrees swords for holstered positions. So you'll have to do it yourself and upload it and name it and then wait for approval etc.
