We also have some nfl news to discuss this week prior to getting into this week's predictions. From retirements to firings.. to a fairly surprising benching we've got a lot to cover and a lot to think about. The standings of the versus also became a lot more exciting last week as we seen Steve make huge strides in the records, and leapfrog John for 3rd place. It's gonna be an important final 2 weeks of the season, and no one's position is truly safe. What a time to be alive...

This last week of NFL action gave me a lot to think about, and a lot of possible topics for my little see more section. I think my biggest takeaway from the week though is how much I really enjoy the season that the Vikings are having. This may seem odd to some of you considering the fact that I'm a Lions fan, but honestly.. seeing Minnesota find a way to win these close games week after week has been really exciting football to watch. Unfortunately this also means relying on them to do it once again this week, and destroy any hopes of another post season with Green Bay's presence. So my hope (and my letter) for this week will be pleading with our scrappy Vikings of the north to do what they do best. In an ideal scenario the Lions will handle their part of the agreement by quickly dispatching Da Bears, and the Vikes will assist their little brother in their playoff journey. Besides... wouldn't you RATHER have a tie breaker game in the playoffs that would be fun and interesting instead of facing a team you've already proven can't beat you? 😇
