RhinoDroid is a free webcomic that I have been creating, mainly livestreaming the process on Twitch TV. I don't want Patreon to get in the way of the current process and online streaming but I also need to explore ways for the project to fund itself into the future.
I feel that Patreon would provide the best opportunity to make this project self-sufficient. I have definite goals long-term for the webcomic and really would love this to extend out beyond just being a 'hobby'.
The RhinoDroid project requires an 8-hour a week commitment - which is a lot of time - but one I think I can commit to it for about a year even if I don't get the support. So one way or another the project will continue, it would just be a lot easier if it had some funding behind it. :)
Please don't feel obliged to support me. I value my viewer-ship here on the channel and I hope I'm not putting pressure on anyone. Also, please only support this if it is something you are interested in and that you can afford.
Oh, and I'm NOT going to be asking over and over again in my videos - particularly not in my gaming videos. :) I'll probably have some references in the comic videos and in their descriptions but I don't plan on 'pushing' Patreon down everyone's throats (other than in this one video). I actually felt really uncomfortable making this video asking for support.
I decided to keep Patreon completely separate for the webcomic and not make it part of my gaming videos. The reason for that is the gaming videos are very much in my relaxation sphere and I want that to remain something I enjoy and not consider a 'business'. The RhinoDroid webcomic though is different. This is a business, albeit an enjoyable one.
