PNY is worth the money
I bought two of these 1TB PNY microSD Cards. They seem to perform quite well. I am not so concerned with the write speeds as once I place my files on them, they will only need to be accessed to read speeds.
I went with PNY over other brands because I trust PNY and their guarantees. I have many many microSD cards for many devices. I'm sticking with PNY.
I've had 3 cards go bad over the years. Put them all in a drawer. One was a Samsung microSD. One was a Sandisk microSD. And the third was a PNY microSD card. I sent each one to the manufacturer under warranty. PNY was the only company that stood by its warranty. They sent me a brand new replacement card. This earned my complete respect and its why I just bought two 1TB from them this time, even thought the Sandisk 1TB card was cheaper on Amazon.
In the past I always bought Sandisk as my preference but no more. I will not buy any Sandisk product ever again. They kept my faulty card and never responded. I do not recommend anyone buy Sandisk. I've crossed them off the list. Also Samsung, never responded and kept the faulty card. Does not stand by their warranty either. I recommend that noone buy any Samsung microSD cards. Off the list. Buy from PNY.
