This run was recorded at AGDQ 2013. We had been practicing for a few months over netplay because we live several thousand miles apart, and everything was going smoothly! Then we get to AGDQ and play on console and realize it is WAY LAGGIER than we were used to. As a result, we had to reroute most of the game and drastically change our strategies. In addition, Mr. K found some new boss quick kills (in level 3 and level 5) which completely changed our bomb route among other things. This routing ended up saving a LOAD of time, but unfortunately it also pulled from the time we had available to do attempts.

This run is improvable, and it will be improved, but for now it is a very good start! I am still really happy with how this turned out. We hit every critical dash, even though two of them were slightly less than ideal (we split up instead of staying tightly grouped). For every dash, the screen kept scrolling at maximum velocity so it was not a problem. We also got almost every boss quick kill, except in level 4 due to some unfortunate luck.

I hope everybody enjoys watching this run as much as Mr. K and I enjoyed producing it. This is not the end of Pocky & Rocky!
