Ok so. This is ridiculously stupid. If I go through this room too fast, the blocks in the following room just don't appear. EVER. Reloading the room doesn't make them appear, no potions make them appear, no amount of waiting will ever make them appear. They simply cease to exist if you get there too quickly. What a terrible bug.

As expected, the game cannot be completed if this happens.
