00:00 What do you think of this building just walking in for the first time?
00:03 BRANDIN PODZIEMSKI: Pretty cool. Technology is off the chain. All the player amenities are super nice, locker room, stuff like that. Got to take a trip up the wall. It's pretty nice. But I think they did a good job. They've seen kind of what's new in the world, and kind of tried to put it all into one.
00:18 You walk all the way up? Is that like getting a workout in, or — ?
00:22 Yeah, I tried to run as much as I could, and I probably got like three quarters of the way. It tired me out, but yeah, it's nice. It's a crazy view from up there, if you get to go up there. Most arenas don't have like hot tub, cold tub for players. I know ours does, Philly's does, Utah's and now here. So I think that's pretty cool that they have that for the visiting players.
00:53 Have you seen any videos of the fans at the Wall and do you think that will be a factor for you guys?
00:56 I mean, just the fact that the visiting team gets to choose which side we start on, I think every team is gonna start this way. So I think it's just more for an atmosphere purpose, encourage them to stand the whole time. So I think it's more so for the atmosphere than more so like distracting for free throws, stuff like that.
01:13 How do you practice free throws middle of the season, because obviously you guys team-wide, your guys’ numbers are a little down right now, free throw percentage-wise? Like, how do you think that that needs to improve? And what do you personally do, as far as that goes?
01:24 I mean, obviously it needs to improve just from a numbers perspective, but I also don't think — a lot of us don't really get to the line like that and so for our personal percentages, I'm 8-for-12 this year, I've only shot 12 free throws in 12 games. And so even Steph, he doesn't shoot a lot, but he shoots a high percentage. So I think it's about, especially in the middle of the season, when you're doing your individual work, fit them in where you fit them in and when you're fatigued, I think that's the most common place you get them in the game.
01:52 I don't think we've talked to you since you got the mask off. How has that been? How much of a relief has it been to not have to wear the mask?
01:59 Shooting 40 percent from three and 100 from the line, so I'll take it. But yeah, it's been good. Felt like I played well with it off, but I'm just happy I don't gotta wear it.
02:09 How does your game feel just overall right now?
02:12 Feels good. I mean, the last two games I've been a minus in the plus-minus category, which is unlike myself. But I think last game compared to the previous two, just felt like myself out there playing with energy. The numbers, I think, will always shake out to whatever they're gonna be. And I think I'll get to where I want to be. Obviously, we're only 12 games in, in the season, so I'm not really concerned about that, but it's just bringing effort and energy, is what I hang my hat on.
02:37 Steve mentioned the two games prior that you were talking about, an indecisiveness that he hadn't seen from you in a while and then an aggressiveness in the last game. I mean, what's that balance?
