POGO (ZX SPECTRUM - FULL GAME)
16Zeus presents Pogo (un-emulated) for the zx spectrum, a true classic from the golden era of spectrum gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.
Year of release: 1983
I loved Q*Bert and this clone was so much fun to play as a kid and playing it again now on my speccy it's still just as much fun and as challenging today which is why i feel it earns the 600th upload spot.
Guide Pogo round the pyramids avoiding the dreaded snake Coily and other nasties while lighting up the hexagons.
Level 9 marks the start of the dark levels but wait till you see the invisible level on level 11! insane!!!
All in all a fantastic Q*Bert clone, very playable with no slowdown when it gets hectic on later levels.
I have another upload of this but that was without using cheats, thanks to my new multiface 128 cheat box which plugs into the back of the speccy, i am able to input the infinite lives poke and upload this game in full for your viewing pleasure.
The game loops back to level 10 after level 16.
