Pokemon Alpha Sapphire Egglocke is going to be awesome!! I am SOO hyped to do another egglocke! Egglocke’s are ALWAYS a blast, and this one won’t be different. All of you wonderful people send me eggs, and I need to use them as I play through the game. Personally, Egglocke’s are my favorite type of Let’s Play because of the interaction I get with all of you. Another reason why I love egglocke challenges (and especially the Alpha Sapphire Egglocke) is that I get to use a great variety of Pokemon. Given that this is 6th gen, there are so many pokemon that I can use. Additionally, this isn’t even counting the mega evolution possibilities that there are! And since this is ORAS, there are also a handful of new mega evolutions like those for Metagross and Salemence, among more. Because of all this, and more, I’m super PUMPED to get the Pokemon Alpha Sapphire Egglocke started, and bring you guys a quality series that you can all enjoy.
Since ORAS has come out, I’ve been waiting to do an egglocke – whether it was with Alpha Sapphire or Omega Ruby. Since I just finished up my Alpha Sapphire Plathrough, now I have an extra copy of ORAS to play – since I’m still using my other copies of Omega Ruby, that’s why I’m not doing an Omega Ruby Egglocke. Join me as I head off into the Hoenn region, revamped in the new remakes, with all the challenges and hardships that come with an egglocke! I hope y’all are excited, you already know I am :)
In Pokemon Alpha Sapphire Egglocke, I will play with all of the standard rules of any egglocke listed below. Since I’ve only played ORAS 1 other full time, I’ll still be using the Exp. Share at LEAST part of the time.
Egglocke Rules –
1. I must catch the first Pokemon in every new route, no matter what it is. If I fail to catch a Pokemon, I cannot swap it out for an egg or catch another new Pokemon on this route.
2. Each new Pokemon I catch must be swapped out ASAP for an egg in the PC box. When the egg hatches, I must nickname the Pokemon I caught and level it up to be the same as the Pokemon I swap it out for.
3. If a Pokemon in my party faints, it is considered "dead" and cannot be used again. I put it in the Death box in my PC.
4. If all the Pokemon in my party faint, then the challenge is over and I lose.
