The MPGD Challenge stands for Max Pokedex Gym Delay Challenge. The rules are simple: Max out your Pokedex before beating the next required gym. This inlcudes Pokemon 'seen' and Pokemon 'caught' as well as anything else in the Pokedex such as the Unowndex. To get an idea of the difficulty of the challenge, imagine fighting only Pokemon in Viridian Forest until you level up Squirtle to evolve into Blastoise before fighting Brock.

Glitches, Trading, or any means to obtain Pokemon not directly using the Gameboy Cartridge such as Pokemon Stadium are not allowed. For the complete description of rules, click the link below:

MPGD Challenge for Pokemon Crystal - Elite Four
Even though there's still the entire region of Kanto left, I've almost caught all the possible Pokemon to catch in the game. Because I chose Pichu from the Daycare Couple egg earlier in the challenge, the Pokedex is currently maxed out up to this point. The challenge is nearly complete!
