Last time on DRAGON Z, We continued on our way through Johto! we talked to Lance, and started our trek through the Rocket hideout in Mahogany town, before capping our visit with the 7th gym badge, but before we could even think about taking a breather, we were met with a phone call from prof elm. Apparently Team Rocket had decided to hijack the Goldenrod Radio tower, in order to broadcast their love for their old leader. Needless to say, the good folks of Johto deserve better, so we flew to Goldenrod, and took the tower back. After bringing peace back to the radio tower, we pressed onward through the Ice path, towards Blackthorn city. After a quick rest in the Pokemon center, Drako and I decided to try our luck at the 8th gym leader. Needless to say, we were successful in our endeavors. With the 8th gym leader defeated, you would think that the badge would be ours, but it wasn't. Clair couldn't handle being defeated like that, and forced Drako and I to do a trial in the Dragons Den. I Barely make it down the ladder, when I am force into a battle that would prove to be the last for Archangel. After a heavy loss of life, and finally getting the 8th gym badge for reals this time, we pressed through victory road to the Pokémon league. Finally we stood there, in front of the Pokemon League... but Drako and I both knew what would happen next... TONIGHT!

Our Soul link rules

Rule 1: Pokémon feints in battle, it is dead (pc/release) [partner must do the same to the pokemon that shared it's encounter]

Rule 2: no items in battle (this excludes pokeballs)(we can use items when out on the field)
[note]- "held items such as; berries, quick claw, etc, do NOT count as items in battle, as the Pokémon, and not the trainer used the item.

Rule 3: We can only catch the first encounter of a new route (split routes and cave floors are a singular area, and are not counted separately)
-Gift Pokémon do not count as encounters, but can be used as party members (same nuzlock rules apply)
-Both players must obtain the encounter and opt to add it to their parties in order for it to be used.

Rule 4: No use of the Pokémon Breeder[if able] (I can use day care for exp, but no eggs)

Rule 5: All caught Pokémon must be nicknamed

Rule 6: Defeat Red (16 gym badges)

Rule 7: The battle option must be set to "set" and not "shift" this is so the main game functions like an actual fair fight.

Rule 8: Both trainers cannot have the same pokemon in their parties (starter excluded)

Rule 9: Both players must always have equal gym badges
