Here we are, the final stop. As per tradition, the last video of a pokemon playthrough gets a team rundown.

**Gooie the Swampert** - My starter since the beginning of this adventure, Gooie has always been a reliable partner. STAB Earthquake and Surf hit really hard, plus access to Ice Beam gives her great coverage to punish electric, grass, and flying types.

**Nene the Crobat** - My dedicated flyer, Nene has had a mixed experience on my team. She either dominates or struggles hardcore depending on the matchup. Wing Attack and Sludge Bomb are good STAB moves and Confuse Ray is pretty nice when luck is actually in my favor.

**Lj the Hariyama** - Lj has been surprisingly handy in most matchups throughout the game. Fake Out is a good opener, Brick Break is a really great STAB move, SmellingSalt had some niche usages, and Hyper Beam with his pretty high attack stat is a devastating combo...sometimes. Late game enemies have been able to tank it pretty well.

**Lains the Aggron** - Aggron might have some serious disadvantages in the late game here, but it should by no means be underestimated. While I unfortunately couldn't find many options for Lains' moveset, he hits pretty hard when it counts with Iron Tail or Strength. Dig had some niche usages and I sadly never found a use for Iron Defense due to many of the offensive types in this particular game being special and not physical. While trying to use Iron Tail is like arm wrestling Lady Luck herself and losing a quarter of the time, the huge power more than made up for it.

**Myst the Manectric** - With the abundance of water types in Hoenn, I needed an electric type and my buddy Myst volunteered to fill that role. He's been a star player in just about every battle I've used him in, only needing to be sacrificed for legendaries a couple of times. While Quick Attack and Bite do pitiful damage with him, his Thunderbolt more than makes up for it by being an extremely devastating if not deadly blow towards anything that isn't resistant or immune to it and isn't a legendary.

**Luna the Flygon** - I've always loved Flygon, and this run was going to allow me to let one shine. While Flygon isn't the best dragon type in Hoenn, that would be Salamence, Dragon/Ground type isn't a bad matchup and access to STAB Earthquake is always a humongous plus. Hyper Beam for flying opponents and Dragon Breath for potential paralysis are nice, but Crunch is stronger than Bite.

I felt that my biggest issue with this run was a lack of options. The movepools of many of my pokemon were frankly shallow without excessive TM usage, and even WITH TMs I found myself grasping at straws to get a proper moveset going. Plus Emerald's difficulty overhaul near the end was more sharp than I'm typically comfortable with. While I overall liked my journey through Alpha Sapphire better than Emerald, I'll admit that I'm glad I *finally* went through with completing this version of the game and getting to experience it with the friends I share these videos with. Everyone, thank you for watching. You guys are what motivate me to keep going.
