Basically, this game contains the traditional elements of its origin E. You also become a trainer who has just moved to the Hoenn Region (in this game, not Ruby characters anymore and you will be Gold instead) with your family. After some small events at the beginning of the game, you get a Pokemon with a Poke-dex for yourself. Time to go and set out for a brand new Pokemon journey! One the way, you will meet the legendary trainer Red and fight him several times, after that you two become friends. Together with him and some more people, you stand up and fight against a new criminal organization.
