4After doing every Silver encounter, you can rematch him at the Pokemon League every Monday and Wednesday. There was only 1 real change to his team this time, but it has a very significant impact: his Golbat evolved into a Crobat. This is important because it's a FRIENDSHIP based evolution, meaning Silver finally started to treat his pokemon with respect and care. Also notice how he talks to you after losing, he isn't berating you anymore and blames his loss not on his pokemon's strength but rather his treatment of them. I love this change of heart in him; the only thing I feel would make this better is if his Sneasel and Magneton evolved. Granted, Weavile and Magnezone aren't gen 2 pokemon and there isn't even an electromagnetic field in the available regions, but since Lance got an updated team in gen 4, I think it'd be fair for Silver to get the same treatment.
