You can only catch the FIRST Pokémon that appears in each route. If you already have it registered (or one from its evolutionary line), you can catch the next one.
When a Pokémon faints, it cannot be used again, and you will also lose a Life.
You have 20 lives; if you lose all your lives, the series ends.
Your team cannot exceed the level of the next Gym Leader's strongest Pokémon. If it does, you cannot use it.
Purchasing healing and power-up items (vitamins) in stores is prohibited. Use the ones you find on your adventure.
You must play in FIXED battle mode.
