Ya know I honestly didn't see that plot twist coming but anyways here we are with one of the toughest boss fights in the entire series. Volo on his own would be hard with a very competent and respectable team of Spiritomb, Arcanine, Lucario, Roserade, Garchomp, and his ace Togekiss.

All of these pokemon can tear you apart but that's not what makes him one of the hardest fights. Ya see after beating Volo you find out he still has a trick up his sleeve in the form of a deadly ghost dragon.

Giratina has some deadly attacks at his disposal. Especially aura sphere and shadow force. Aura sphere never misses and Shadow Force basically just a "this target dies" buttton that also gives him an obscuring buff after he uses it.

But of course once you fell Giratina you're not done... remember he has an origin form of his own and he's more than happy to show you.

Thankfully the Origin Form isn't a bulky but with over 20% more attack I don't think it matters too much since this is at the end of a long fight against essentially a trainer with 8 pokemon and 2 of them are Uber Legendaries and unlike other bosses in this game or the fight with Greevil from XD gale of darkness. Ya see once you beat shadow Lugia you'd skip right to the Greevil fight but here you don't have that Luxury. If you die to Giratina in either form you're starting back before the Volo fight.

Ironically unlike that sack of crab Greevil I actually like this fight probably because he only cheats a little bit and battles are much faster in this game than in XD (good god pray there's never a weather effect in that game or you'll want to start reciting crime statistice)

It's kind of funny even though technically he uses more pokemon than Greevil and is higher leveled I don't mind this fight and actually quite like it.
Maybe it's because he's actually well built up throughout the game and is properly leveled for the endgame instead of 5-10 levels above the boss you faced mere minutes ago... yeah I really didn't like XD

Anyways with this video I think we'll be slowing down a lot on legends arceus. I do still plan to make videos for the rematch with Giratina and Arceus but I'm going to have to catch every pokemon in Hisui and that may take a bit (I got other games to play and all)

Obviously that means another Ys 8 Video though I may be starting up LP #9 on the side (it'll be much shorter) also thinking about going and doing the expansions for Quake and continuing to record boss fights for Psychonauts 2.

Regardless thank you all for watching and hope to see you again soon.
