Pokémon Let's Go Eevee - Magmar Only Run
7Michael beats "Pokémon: Let's Go Eevee" with just Magmar! This video comes with commentary that was recorded afterwards. It skips through the less important parts, and it covers all the gyms.
Michael brings in four Magmars from Pokemon Go. He gets through the first gym, by using smog and smokescreen, to poison opponents and make them miss. The opponents eventually die from poison. He gets through the second gym, by using X Special Defense to counteract the enemies' super effective attacks.
The next two gyms are easy. Michael was overly cautious about not getting too much experience and levels, which results in disobedience from traded pokemon. As a result, Michael didn't catch enough pokemon to make it into Koga's poison gym. He was forced to do Pokemon Manor and Blaine's gym next.
This proved to be quite helpful, as it made his Magmars overleveled, for Koga's gym, Silph Co. and Sabrina's gym. The final gym was tough, as the ground-type enemies did lots of damage to the Magmars. The Elite Four went well, since Lorlei and Lance are the only ones with Pokemon that are strong against fire types. X items are enough to push Magmars to victory over them. Michael used more x items than necessary during the final rival battle.
