Pokemon Logic
1,314As I think I've made pretty obvious in some of my other videos, I'm a huge fan of Pokemon. It's been one of the games I've played for nearly my whole life. However, I think we all know that, even if it's a video game, there are a few logical fallacies within the Pokemon universe, namely within the games, whether they be with some of the NPCs like Professor Oak, some of the game mechanics themselves, or just how they expect you to "CATCH 'EM ALL!!" when Pokemon professors, who've supposedly spend decades studying these creatures, keep magically discovering hundreds of new Pokemon species they didn't know about.
Yes, yes, I know, "suspension of disbelief" and all that jazz, and that's all well and good, but really, even in that context, how can you rightfully explain to someone that A FLYING TYPE POKEMON who was CLEARLY FLYING WHEN YOU CAUGHT IT can't use the move FLY?! IT CAN'T USE FLY, DESPITE THE FACT THAT THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS (AND MAY STILL) BE DOING RIGHT THAT SECOND.
Also, 2000 SUBSCRIBERS!! I hit 2000 subscribers yesterday, and I'm VERY happy about that! Thank you to EVERYONE who's ever watched, liked, commented on, or shared even one of my videos -- that helps out so much more than you realize, and I'm grateful for anyone who's watched even one of my videos! :D :D :D
(For the people that I know will be sticklers for it, yes, I know that Hydro Pump only has 5 PP, so just imagine I used a few PP Up's or a PP Max on Poliwhirl so I could use it more than 5 times during the Poliwhirl/Raticate scene. I would've just put that into the video, but I figured people would just be able to determine/guess that, and I felt throwing a text thing in there just to explain that would've been shoehorned in, so...there.)
