After playing this game for 10 years and putting over 400 hours of play, I finally achieved my childhood goal of getting a Pokémon to 999 HP without hacking. And, sorry for not having a capture card.

Here's how I did it:

- Get a Pokémon with the Nature Gifter IQ Skill. It allows Sitrus Berries and Life Seeds to be eaten by the leader and all of your party will get the HP bonus. Only Pokémon in the B and H IQ Groups can learn it, and unfortunately it's the last skill they learn, requiring 9 stars of IQ.

- In Spinda Café, have Spinda make drinks out of Blinker Seeds, Sleep Seeds, Totter Seeds, and X-Eye Seeds. All of those have a chance of raising the drinker's max HP by 4. Other seeds can raise it by 1 or 2, but I prefer not to use them since I want to save them and it's slower. Besides, it's rather uncommon to get the HP boost at all.

- Speaking of Spinda Café, recycling is a great way to get rare items while getting rid of your garbage. With Gold Tickets, you can get Sitrus Berries and Life Seeds on big wins, and with Prism Tickets, you can get Sitrus Berries and Life Seeds on regular wins as well. The daily offers can also give you vitamins as well (Protein, Iron, Calcium, Zinc).

- The best places to find Sitrus Berries and Life Seeds elsewhere are from the Zero Isle dungeons, particularly Zero Isle South. You can run through the dungeon and collect as many Sitrus Berries, Life Seeds, and vitamins as you can before using an Escape Orb to get out.

- There are also some Sitrus Berries and Life Seeds found throughout the main story as well. Since I had that goal in mind back then, I had my Pikachu (at the time) eat them as soon as I got them. This was actually back before I knew about Spida Café and Nature Gifter.

- Loads of time. It took me years to get to this point, but I reckon it can probably be done in months.

As you can see, my Raichu also has max IQ, his other four stats are at the max of 255 (Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def.), and his moves are strengthened to +10 and Thunderbolt to +55. The next goal I'm trying to do in this game is to get them all to +99, or whatever the limit is for ginseng. That'll probably take a long time as well, but fortunately ginseng have a chance of strengthening the move by +3.

Edit: I've recently learned about the Wonder Mail S generator. I didn't use that, either.

This video is also a sequel to another video I made when I got my Raichu to 666 HP. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7RLmUy-lrA

And yes, that is an authentic 10-year-old DS Lite. The L and R buttons are broken, which is why I don't press L and A to use my set move. I also button mash a lot, if you couldn't tell.

Also, I am trying to get my Raichu in the other PMD games to the max HP as well (I always choose Pikachu as my starter). As of when this is uploaded, here's what they are:

Blue Rescue Team: 324 HP
Explorers of Sky: 999 HP
Gates to Infinity: 346 HP
Super Mystery Dungeon: 402 HP
