Continuing the playthrough of Mystery Dungeon: Red EX, a ROM Hack of Mystery Dungeon: Red, which includes some quality of life changes.

Several Starter Pokémon have received an additional Ability:

Bulbasaur gets Thick Fat.
Charmander gets Intimidate.
Squirtle gets Shell Armour.
Chikorita gets Chlorophyll.
Cyndaquil gets Flash Fire.
Totodile gets Rough Skin.
Treecko gets Shed Skin.
Torchic gets Own Tempo.
Mudkip gets Swift Swim.
Meowth gets Serene Grace.
Machop gets Vital Spirit.

Most, if not all, instances of the Run Away Ability have been replaced.

Eevee's has been changed to Cute Charm.
Rattata's has been changed to Pickup.
Doduo's has been changed to Compound Eyes.
Ponyta's has been changed to Flame Body.
Sentret's has been changed to Cute Charm.
Dunsparce's has been changed to Pure Power.
Aipom's has been removed with no replacement.
Snubull's has been changed to Oblivious.
Poochyena's has been changed to Intimidate.

Meowth's Pickup Ability has been changed to Limber.
Meowth is now Normal/Dark Type.
Psyduck is now Water/Psychic Type.
Machop now evolves at level 15, and then again at level 34.

Lapras, Magikarp, Gyarados, Aipom, Porygon2, and Minun can now be found in Dungeons. They were previously exclusive to Mystery Dungeon: Blue.

Some Items now have a different colour/sprite.

Escape Orbs are now White, instead of Blue.
Grimy Food now look like Purple Apples instead of Geo Pebbles.
TMs are now color-coded, based on the Type of move it teaches.
Several Scarves have had their colours changed.

PP for certain moves has been increased:

Sludge Bomb, Psychic, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Transform, Shadow Ball, Shadow Punch, Feint Attack, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, Quick Attack, Surf, Hydro Pump, Thunder, Fire Blast, Dragon Claw, Twister, Magical Leaf, Brick Break, Low Kick, Slash, Blaze Kick, Fly, Waterfall, Muddy Water.

Wigglytuff now sells most Friend Areas as soon as he's available. Some are locked until the Post-Game, mainly ones for Legendaries.

Pokémon in the Tiny Woods Dungeon can now be recruited.

A complete control feature was added, which allows you to control your party members by pressing L + Start.

Some enemy Pokémon now spawn in different locations.
Chansey now spawns at a 5% rate on Floors 28 - 35 in Western Cave.

Enemy recruitment rates have been changed to allow recruiting everything. Some fully Evolved Pokémon were unrecruitable in the base game, meaning you could only obtain them by evolving into them.
