Game Description:

Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver are 2009 remakes of the 1999 Game Boy Color games Pokémon Gold and Silver also featuring aspects of Pokémon Crystal. The games are part of the fourth generation of the Pokémon video game series and were developed by Game Freak, published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. You must go on an epic quest to become the best Pokémon trainer in both the Johto and Kanto regions through battling and leveling up your team of Pokemon. The goal of this series is to survive the randomized order of Pokémon or fall victim to the rules of the Nuzlocke in which if a Pokémon faints, they become unusable for the rest of the playthrough, and their only chance to catch a Pokémon is on their very first encounter on each route.
