Pokémon Platinum (RN) Part 1: All I Want for Christmas is Pokémon
1RN stands for randomized nuzlocke- a challenge in which I try not to let any of my pokemon faint. If one of my pokemon faints, I can no longer use it in battle (I can still use it for HMs if needed to progress the game).
Other rules:
- I can only catch 1 Pokémon per route
- Shiny Pokémon can be caught and used even if a Pokémon has already been caught on that route. (I am terminally unlucky so this will never happen)
- I can skip over duplicate Pokémon (Ex: If I have a pidgey and I run into another pidgey as my first encounter, I can try again)
- I can skip over duplicate evolutions (Ex: If I have a pidgeot and I run into a pidgey (or vice versa) as my first encounter, I can try again).
- All wild Pokémon, trainer Pokémon, and static Pokémon have been randomized to add an element of surprise.
- All trainer Pokémon levels have been increased by 10%. If a trainer's Pokémon is lvl 40 or higher, it will always be a fully evolved Pokémon.
(I just realized I made this challenge easier than the Emerald one. Darn, I was supposed to increase the difficulty, not decrease it... Oops.)
- Also, for now, the challenge is "Christmas themed" so I'll try using holiday themed names and stuff. Merry Christmas!
