Alright, time for a Japanese fact. Kabe means "Wall" so Kabegami literally means "God of walls". But uh... You probably already guessed that....
Oh, you may be wondering why Kabegami is even here. In fact, you may be curious as to know why there are 13 brush techniques and 13 gods, when there are only 12 zodiac signs in the Chinese Zodiac (and the gods in this game are based on those signs...). WELL... There is a legend that explains this.
So, in order to become a member of the Chinese zodiac, all the animals had to compete in a race. The first 12 animals to cross the finish line (a river), would become a member. Before the race started, the cat and the rat were BFFs, and the cat wanted to take a short nap, so he asked the rat to wake him up for the race. The rat didn't wake the cat up, and he also won first place since he hitched a ride on the ox. The cat woke up, realized what had happened, and from then on, the cat and the rat became mortal enemies.
