1Episode 2 of our Pokemon Ultimate Monotype Nuzlocke Challenge Seires on Pokemon Red. In this episode, we go pokemon hunting as we attempt to add a new member to our team!
Pokémon Ultimate Monotype Nuzlocke Challenge Rules
1. Any Pokémon that faints is considered to have died, and must be removed from the team immediately.
2. We can only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and no others. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances.
3. We can only use Pokémon of outr chosen type (Poison) in battle. HM Slaves can be caught, but may not be used in battle and must be kept in the PC with the exception of those times when the HM is needed to proceed with the game.
4. While not a definite rule, the general consensus is that players should also nickname all of their Pokémon, for the sake of forming stronger emotional bonds.
5. A 'black out' is considered to be "game over", even if there are Pokémon left in the PC. Getting stuck with no way of progressing is also conidered to be a game over.
