the ramen noodles is a highly advanced strategy which involves sending smaller blocks in quick succession by chaining them simultaneously at a specific time, as demonstrated by the computer on me in this match. the ramen noodles all fall in quick succession, granting no reaction time whatsoever because the smaller blocks falling cancel the shaking of the larger block below(time which could have otherwise been used to prepare a way to break the block).


this strategy is primarily efficient when your opponent has few lines of panels to work with or an inefficient setup of panels and is destroying a block(the case of this video). to be noted: bigger blocks shake the screen for more time, allowing more time for counterplay(this applies to every time the blocks fall on your screen).


in this case, the full momentum cancel can be seen by the last block which falls(the half wide block does not count because it fell at the same time as the larger block, thus not counting as a ramen noodle. sure felt like it though). although the webcam freezes up, you can hear the sound of me dying immediately after the block falls.
