Hello and welcome to my torment! A Pokemon Shiny Badge Quest in Pokemon SoulSilver. Technically, this is a race against KalicoFox, and a couple of friends of mine who're doing it as well, and while originally we weren't doing it at the same time because timezones, we are now. It's mostly for fun.
The rules of the badge quest are simple; we need to get a shiny Pokemon for every single gym. We're also gonna be getting one for both the League and for Red, meaning 18 shinies in total. At 1 in 8000 ish odds, it'll be long and difficult for both of us, and not all the VoDs are gonna end up having much progress because of it, but for the sake of archiving they're gonna be posted no matter what.
This was streamed live over at https://www.twitch.tv/the_shadow_vulpix​ in which we started out as absolute stumps because we were so done with this game, then spent 2 hours ranting about what we'd do if we suddenly had a lot of money, made an internet cryptid, and finally decided that we're done with this game and moving on with our lives to go play something else.
