- To separate Calyrex with the steed of your choice, use the Reins of Unity Key Item on them. To "fuse" them, use it on Calyrex and then the steed.
- Note that Calyrex will lose his exclusive attack when riding his steed whenever you separate them, deleting the move and leaving a vacant spot in his move list.
