Okay guys, you WANT to watch this, trust me. This may be the single closest match I've ever had. We pretty much both had equal chances of winning right up to the last two turns. Enjoy.

With Water and Flying being the two most common types in the tournament, it makes sense that Electric would be aa good counterpick to both. It's also a pretty decent type for mono since it has only one weakness, and quite a few Electric types can cover it.

My opponent's team was very good, with a hilariously bulky Stunfisk and some great attackers. But what made this battle so fun was that by this point, we'd both fully got into the Rotation Battle format. This battle was won and lost on smart rotations and predicitons. Every turn I calculated how risky all my plays were based on what he could rotate to. You'll often see my use the "safe move" in certain circumstances, one that may not be the most effective on the current Pokemon, but isn't majorly walled by any of the others either.

Once again Auroros was the real star here, switching in to activate Weakness Policy, then cautiously picking off only those I was sure it could outspeed. Mine isn't Speed EV'd at all, but I could tell it was faster than certain things on his team like Eelectross, Stunfisk and Magnezone. Well, I wouldn't want it out against Magnezone anyway. I'm glad I got that thing out of the way with a (I don't want to brag, but) brilliant prediction later on. In hindsight I had many oppertunities to take it out earlier though.

The last three Pokemon though... there things got really intense. Both of us pretty much had an equal shot there, one good or bad rotation would be enough to decide it. And honestly, I thought it was all over when Stunfisk rotated into Aerodactyl. But thankfully, it didn't paralyze. I would have lost if it did. I managed to catch the Stunfisk later, but I STILL could have lost if my Aerodactyl's Rock Slide had missed at the end. This really came down to the last play.

Unfortunately, this is where the tournament ends for me. With 2-2 I didn't have quite enough to make Top Cut, so sadly you won't be seeing any more of these. I came close to winning the first mach, and if I did.... oh well. Still, this was fun. If you like this team, tell me if you want to see them on WiFi later!
