Pokemon X (and Y) Stream Event (Raffle idea, Spreading the Word, and more!)
Like, comment and subscribe! (It really helps!)
Okay, so I've been meaning to put this video up since Wednesday and literally have not had the time to do so. Pretty much, while this stream is going I will be asking for donations (especially since I've been slacking on the videos and I could just be recording this the day before instead of streaming it)
Pretty much... I will be having a few raffles go on in the stream, raffling random things like Pokemon that I catch in the stream (which, if you want I can re-nickname the Pokemon to whatever you'd like, or keep the nickname that's given in the stream. I will also be doing a raffle for other things... like I still have that Animal Crossing "Game Holder" with the styluses inside of it if someone wants it, but they can exchange it for a Pokemon that I catch as well if they prefer that.
(Notice: anyone outside of the U.S. will not be able to win physical items because the shipping costs skyrocket exporting things)
Pretty much to enter the raffle, you will just have to either donate $5 for one entry (so $10 gets 2 entries, etc.) OR just to cater to those that are under age and can not make online donations I will give 30 chances (First 30 hours I will ask a question for each hour passed... maybe more if I feel like it) that way everyone can try and win something.
Actual Prizes will be announced before or the day of the stream happening (I probably will allow the game's mascot to be given as well whenever I hit a goal in the donations)
If anyone has any ideas for tiers that they would like to see, feel free to comment below!
Pokemon That will start out as being given away: 3
Current Tier ideas:
$50 gets Luc to sing the Pokemon theme song on stream (1st Season, will be put up on the channel too as a separate video)
$100 gets an extra Pokemon added to the raffle to be given away (So number goes up to 4)
$300 gets the Pokemon "Xerneas" added to the raffle, because I still will need his info in my Y version, but would trade him over to someone immediately if I reached this goal instead
$500 gets the Animal Crossing Game Holder added to the raffle (since this takes time and shipping to do, and can be a pain too lol...)
More to be announced. (hit me with some ideas people! Such as... if anyone wants me to give some rare event Pokemon from past gens to their Black/White [2] games I can see if I can do that, sing something else, etc!)
I'd love it if I could just hit $300 for this little... 30+ hours stream however, I've seen surprises happen before so all I can say is "never know"
As for advertising, I will be posting this every couple days on the Wii U since I know people look there, but if you want to spread the word, feel free to help by letting people know, even if they don't donate, the more people in the stream the merrier!
Finally... I will be *trying* to find a streetbroken store that is selling the game a week or less before release cause... I won't post info about it, but I don't *want* to stop the stream for an hour to pick up my English Y version at Walmart... but I will if I have to. However, if I do happen to pick up a streetbroken date game, I will NOT be posting any info on the game since I don't need Nintendo knocking on my door telling me to cease and desist -_-
Main reason why I'm not downloading the game also, is because I've been using my Pikachu 3DS on my free time over the 3DS I record with (which... technically makes sense since the recording one should be strictly for recording) So... I need the cartridge to switch back and forth between the 2.
And For those that wonder... the stream will start at about 1 pm (maybe 12 though depending on how fast the download is... or how long it actually takes Japan to release it via download...) on October 11th. (Day before release in the States)
