Pokemon Yellow 094: Mew Glitch
3I already took out the Gambler, but luckily, I had not defeated this one Swimmer. The basic glitch is rather easy once you get the hang of it. First find a trainer that can see you across the entire screen. Enter their line of sight and IMMEDIATELY press the start button. Choose to fly or teleport or dig and then find a pokemon with a special stat of 21. That one Trainer before Bill's house is optimal. Fight him and win or lose. Return to the place with the person you warped away from and the menu should pop up. Press B, and you will enter battle with Mew. He is level 7, and only knows Pound.
First I take out Mew with a Master Ball. I put him to sleep for my own comfort. I thought I might have missed the Pokemon or something. Next, I take out Mew by weakening him and putting him to sleep again. I use the Ultra Ball this time.
