Port Calm New Route
3I did a run of each route and with lazy standards just accepted ones where the monkeys weren't too bad to me, so the time difference could be a little bit bigger or smaller (I lost some time in the new route by doing those two bad angled jumps after the 4th monkey, and the old route did some running when I should've long jumped). The larger window is the new route. Although this new route is slower, it's only slower assuming that the last monkey in the old route is cooperative and quick to catch, which in most cases isn't.
I'd say the new route is much more consistent and overall better, but if you are doing segmented or just want to make sure your runs could have the best possible start, the old route might save you some time, especially if you get that rare occurence where the last monkey is on the side of the bridge closest to you (would save a few more seconds but it's very uncommon).
