Potions, Demons, and Getting Cubed -- CaveBlazers #02
1CaveBlazers is an action roguelite that combines the challenge of Spelunky, with the magic weapons and gear of a roguelike; unidentified potions and all. It is awesome!
Many potions grant Permanent Buffs, like +10 hp, or +2 damage, while other could poison or curse you, so it's best to drink a bunch at once; as there are more good than bad ones. Plus, once you identify the color of the potion, you know what it does for that run.
The game has meta progression, so even when you die, you can unlock new abilities. These new abilities are really cool, things like a Double Jump, Big Bonus to Hp, Rapid Fire Bow, stuff like that, and you can always choose to start with one of them once you unlock it, providing many different ways to play the game. You can even unlock outfits, and play a bit of dress-up, if that's your thing :)
You can also find Permanent Blessing, which change how certain abilities function, often you have a choice of 3.
