Trying PAL Tape loading on NTSC C128, this is all happening real time - enjoy (or not) the wait with me... This is how Europeans would enjoy their gaming back in the day. No comfortable loading from disks but anxious staring at the screen watching colourful bars dance around in the border hoping that the wait would not be in vain. :P
I figured I'd run into problems trying to load a PAL Tape based C64 game on my NTSC C128 in C64 mode but it all worked.
Not all PAL tapes will load on a NTSC machine but a lot of them will function without any problems.
Despite the cluncky graphics it really managed to capture the speed and 3D effects rather nicely - considering the limitations of the machine the Power Drive game is an amazing piece of coding that does have to be respected.
