When word reaches the remaining Power Rangers that their founder and mentor Zordon has been captured by a coalition of villains, the remaining Power Rangers journey into space aboard a NASADA space shuttle in the hopes of rescuing him. Deep in space, they discover the Astro Megaship, the mobile base of operations for Andros a Power Ranger who grew up on the distant space colony of KO-35. Joining forces, they draw power from their Astro Morphers to take their fight against evil anywhere necessary and to find Zordon before it's too late. Fighting a union of their past villain's led by monstrous Dark Specter are in for the biggest fight the universe has ever seen.
Power Rangers in Space is an American superhero drama serving as an adaptation of the 21th Super Sentai series Denji Sentai Megaranger and is the sixth installment of the Power Rangers franchise. The season picks up directly following the end of Power Rangers Turbo and concludes the six-year long Zordon Era, ending the practice of a continuous serial-style show with a regular cast that carried over from one season to the next. In the season, the former Turbo Rangers leave Earth behind to chase after Divatox into space, where they meet Andros and come into conflict with the United Alliance of Evil.
The show was dubbed in Korean and aired in South Korea as Megaranger (메가레인저 Megaleinjeo), taking after its Sentai counterpart.
